The portfolio of ROEKO retraction materials consists of conventional cords with different characteristics and sizes. Suitable accessories support a successful retraction of the gingiva to be prepared for the impression.

ROEKO Stay-put

Retraction

Stay-put combines the advantages of a braided retraction cord with the adaptability of a fine metal filament. The pliable core is so effective that the cord is not only easy to place in the sulcus but it stays there.

ROEKO Retracto

Retraction

Retracto are polyester cords impregnated with aluminium chloride hexahydrate for the temporary retraction and haemostasis of the gingival margin. They are also available as non impregnated. The mechanical use of the retraction cord causes compression. The compression contracts the treated tissue and causes haemostasis.

The retraction cord is available in 2 versions: Retracto impregnated / non impregnated braided is slightly more compact and firmer than Retracto impregnated / non impregnated twisted and is preferable when increased retraction is required.

ROEKO Comprecap / Comprecap anatomic

Retraction

ROEKO Comprecap compression caps stop bleeding naturally by compression and control the moisture. The use is simple and supports impression preparation regardless of the retraction technique.ROEKO Comprecap anatomic are formed compression caps with semicircled shaped spaces on two opposite sides and can therefore be easily placed on adjacent teeth.
