Transparent strips are matrices which help contour restorative materials to match natural dentition. They are primarily intended for light-cured composite on anterior tooth. Transparency of the product ensures polymerization for light cure or self-cure composites. In addition, transparent strips are made of strong plastic with tensile strength and flexibility ensuring the band to be drawn tightly and snugly around the tooth, giving good marginal adaptation.
